Release 2.32.0 Overview: More Control Over Margin, Stronger Trading Reliability

Blog post image

Release 2.32.0 strengthens some of the most important systems behind everyday trading: margin calculation, account metrics, live market data, symbol synchronization, and platform security.

At the center of this release is a new configurable Used Margin model, giving brokers greater control over how margin is valued while keeping cross-currency Fixed Margin stable over the lifetime of a position.

The release also improves live chart accuracy, account metric resilience, security, monitoring, and several everyday Trading Terminal workflows.

Choose How Used Margin Is Valued

Different brokerage models can require different approaches to margin valuation.

Wifox Trading now provides a global configuration for choosing between two Used Margin strategies:

Dynamic uses current market pricing when valuing Used Margin, allowing the value to change together with the market.

Fixed uses the position's opening price, keeping the price component of Used Margin fixed after the position is opened.

This gives brokers greater flexibility to align Wifox Trading with their preferred risk-management model.

Stable FX for Fixed Margin

Fixed margin becomes particularly important when the instrument quote currency differs from the client's wallet currency.

Previously, fixing the opening price while continuing to use a live FX conversion rate could still cause Used Margin to change as exchange rates moved.

Release 2.32.0 addresses this by storing and using the opening FX rate for Fixed Margin positions.

As a result, Fixed mode now freezes both the opening price and the relevant FX conversion, keeping Used Margin stable throughout the position lifecycle.

Dynamic mode continues to follow current market and FX values.

More Accurate Live Chart Candles

Live higher-timeframe candles now transition more reliably between periods.

An issue affecting 1-hour and 4-hour candles could leave outdated high or low values visible after an hourly boundary.

The live candle logic has been corrected so that current chart data remains aligned with the appropriate trading period and subsequent historical data.

For traders, this means a more reliable representation of live price action when working with higher timeframes.

More Resilient Account Metrics

A problem with a single instrument should not prevent an entire trading account from displaying its core metrics.

The account metrics workflow has therefore been hardened so that a missing or invalid instrument pair can be isolated rather than interrupting calculations for the whole wallet.

This improves the availability of important account information such as Balance and Equity when individual market-data issues occur.

More Reliable Symbol Synchronization

Symbol synchronization jobs have been redesigned to reduce dependencies on individual environments and providers.

New synchronization behavior, including detach-mode support, makes instrument updates more resilient and simplifies working with different market-data configurations.

This continues the work toward a more flexible trading infrastructure that can operate across different provider setups.

Security Hardening Across Trading Services

Release 2.32.0 includes another security review across Quote Services and Trading Core.

High and Critical vulnerabilities identified through Docker Scout were addressed as part of this release, reducing known security risks across core trading services and their dependencies.

Cleaner Operational Logging

Monitoring becomes less useful when important events are buried under repetitive technical messages.

Redundant Redis subscription events have been removed from system logs, reducing unnecessary noise and making operational events easier for technical teams to identify and investigate.

Customize the Symbols Sidebar

The Trading Terminal's Symbols sidebar now gives traders more control over how their preferred markets are organized.

Favorite symbols can be reordered using drag-and-drop, allowing frequently used instruments to be positioned exactly where traders want them.

Symbols can also be sorted by Bid and Ask prices, providing another way to organize and review available markets.

Clearer Swap Values

Swap values now use positive and negative visual indicators consistent with Profit/Loss styling.

This makes it easier to identify whether Swap is adding to or reducing the financial result of a position without having to interpret the number separately.

Better Mobile Reporting

Mobile date-selection workflows have also been standardized.

Consistent date pickers provide the same interaction patterns across reporting screens, while a new Last Week preset makes reviewing recent order activity faster.

More Control Where Risk Logic Matters

Release 2.32.0 combines infrastructure improvements with an important change in how brokers can configure trading risk.

Instead of enforcing a single Used Margin valuation model, Wifox Trading can now support both Dynamic market-based valuation and Fixed opening-based valuation, including stable opening FX for cross-currency positions.

Together with more resilient account metrics, accurate live candles, stronger synchronization, security hardening, and Trading Terminal improvements, this release gives brokers greater control over risk logic while making everyday trading operations more reliable.
