Trading Release 2.31.0 Overview: More Reliable Settlement, Accurate Risk Metrics and More Instruments

Date:
26.08.2026
Release 2.31.0 strengthens the financial logic behind everyday trading while expanding the range of instruments available to traders.
Order settlement now stays better aligned with actual execution state, inactive positions no longer affect live margin calculations, and multi-currency profit and margin logic is consistent across Trading and CRM.
The release also adds 16 European share CFDs, introduces real-time client messaging improvements, and refines several mobile and trading workflows.
More Reliable Order Settlement
When a trade is reported as closed, its actual execution and settlement state should reflect the same result.
Release 2.31.0 strengthens the order closing process so that a successful response remains aligned with the actual state of the matching engine.
This prevents scenarios where an order could appear closed while its underlying position remained active or settlement had not completed.
For operational teams, this provides a more reliable view of client positions. For traders, it reduces the risk of discrepancies between visible order state and the financial result applied to their account.
Preventing Ghost Positions from Affecting Margin
Live margin should be calculated only from positions that are actually eligible and active.
Additional database checks now prevent stale or invalid position records from contributing to Used Margin and other live risk calculations.
This is particularly important because an incorrect position state can affect Margin Level and potentially influence risk-management actions.
By filtering these records before margin calculations, the platform keeps account risk metrics aligned more closely with the client's actual open trading exposure.
Consistent Multi-Currency Profit and Margin
Cross-currency trading introduces another layer of calculation when an account currency differs from the instrument's quote currency.
Release 2.31.0 aligns profit and margin calculations between Wifox Trading and CRM for these scenarios.
For example, an EUR-denominated account trading BTC/USDT now follows the same conversion logic across client and staff interfaces.
This means Expected Profit, Margin, and related values remain consistent when the same trade is reviewed from different parts of the platform.
More Reliable Historical Chart Restoration
Large historical datasets can require significantly more processing time than routine market data operations.
The candle restoration workflow has been adjusted to support longer-running history restoration processes without being interrupted by standard system timeouts.
This makes it possible to restore larger periods of historical price data, including cases where years of candle history need to be recovered.
16 New European Share CFDs
The default instrument catalog has been expanded with international share CFDs.
This expansion gives businesses a broader selection of European-focused instruments to offer through Wifox Trading.
Real-Time Client Communication
Client communication inside the Personal Account is becoming more immediate.
Release 2.31.0 introduces an updated approach to real-time requests and notifications, allowing relevant account and request information to reach clients without relying on traditional page-refresh workflows.
This creates a more responsive Personal Account experience and establishes a stronger foundation for real-time client communication.
Promotions in One Place
The legacy Banners module has been retired.
Client-facing promotional content is now managed through Promotions, reducing overlap between separate administrative tools and giving teams one place to manage promotional visuals and campaigns.
Better Mobile Reporting
Date selection across mobile workflows has been standardized to provide a more consistent experience.
Range and Date pickers now follow the same interaction patterns across supported screens, while a new Last Week preset makes it faster to review recent order activity.
More Precise Volume Input
Trading volume controls have also been refined.
When non-minimum volume settings are used, volume inputs are limited to hundredths. This prevents unsupported precision while still allowing traders to configure position sizes accurately.
Stronger Financial Logic Behind Everyday Trading
Release 2.31.0 focuses on areas where consistency directly matters: whether a trade is actually settled, which positions contribute to margin, and how profit and margin are calculated across currencies and interfaces.
Alongside these trading-engine improvements, new European share CFDs expand the instrument catalog, while real-time communication and mobile refinements improve the client experience.
Together, these changes make Wifox Trading more consistent across execution, risk management, market access, and everyday use.
