Release 2.29.0 Overview: Expanding Trading Capabilities and Strengthening Platform Reliability

Release 2.29.0 expands the trading capabilities available across Wifox Trading while strengthening the infrastructure behind everyday trading operations.

The release introduces the first phase of the Traders module and new pending Stop orders, provides real-time account risk metrics, strengthens wallet integrity and order tracking, and improves the reliability and management of market data.

New Trading Capabilities

Different trading strategies require different ways to enter the market and manage investments. Release 2.29.0 expands these capabilities with two significant additions to the platform.

Traders Module

The first phase of the new Traders module is now available. Clients can browse expert profiles, review their performance statistics, explore available investment plans, and submit requests to follow selected strategies.

This creates a foundation for managed investment workflows within Wifox Trading and gives businesses another way to connect clients with professional trading strategies.

Buy Stop and Sell Stop Orders

Pending order functionality has been expanded with Buy Stop and Sell Stop orders.

Instead of entering the market immediately, traders can define a price at which an order should be triggered. This supports breakout and momentum-based trading strategies while bringing the order management experience closer to established industry practices.

Together, these additions provide clients with more flexibility in how they participate in the market.

Risk Management and Wallet Integrity

As trading activity becomes more complex, accurate balances and real-time risk information become increasingly important for both traders and internal staff.

Release 2.29.0 strengthens wallet processing to protect balances during concurrent operations such as liquidations and order reopens. Additional transaction-level tracking provides a clearer and more auditable record of wallet changes.

The platform also introduces a dedicated real-time channel for key account metrics, including:

  • Balance
  • Equity
  • PnL
  • Margin Level

These values are now available in the Trading Terminal footer and Orders Reports, giving traders and staff a consistent view of the account's current financial and risk state without requiring page refreshes.

Order Lifecycle Tracking

Understanding what happened to an order is especially important when investigating execution issues, resolving client questions, or reviewing trading activity.

Orders now receive a unique tracking identifier that allows their lifecycle to be followed across the platform.

This creates a clearer audit trail for trading operations and provides technical and support teams with more reliable information when investigating individual trades.

Market Data Reliability and Control

Reliable trading requires both current market prices and complete historical data.

Administrators can now manually request candle history for selected date ranges and, when necessary. This provides greater control when restoring or correcting chart history following provider interruptions or other data issues.

Market data connectivity has also been strengthened with an automated WebSocket recovery mechanism. The platform can detect stalled or unsuccessful provider connections and initiate recovery without requiring routine manual service restarts.

Together, these improvements make both historical and real-time market data infrastructure more resilient.

Improved Mobile Trading Workflow

Managing positions from a mobile device should require as few unnecessary steps as possible.

A new Show on Chart action has been added to the mobile Orders table. Traders can now move directly from an order to the corresponding chart, making it easier to review the market context around an active or historical trade.

Built for More Capable and Reliable Trading

Release 2.29.0 combines new client-facing trading functionality with improvements to the infrastructure that supports it.

The Traders module and Stop orders expand the ways clients can interact with the market, while stronger wallet processing, real-time risk metrics, order lifecycle tracking, and more resilient market data help ensure those trading workflows operate on a reliable foundation.

Together, these improvements continue the development of Wifox Trading as a platform designed for both flexible trading experiences and dependable day-to-day operations.
