Attach PDF Files to Penetration Reports

Penetration testing is an essential part of any security program — and now, documenting those results in Wifox Business Core Solution (WBCS) is easier than ever.
 

The Penetration Reports module now supports direct PDF uploads, allowing you to attach complete test reports, evidence, and result summaries right inside the system.

 

Why It Matters

 

Instead of managing pen-test results through email or shared folders, teams can now keep all documentation centralized and auditable.
 

Each report entry can include full test documentation — from initial findings to retest validation — ensuring transparency and traceability across security reviews.

 

How to Add a PDF to a Penetration Report

 

Click + Add in the top-right of the Penetration Reports table.

Fill in the core fields:

• Name: Short title of the test (e.g., “SQL Injection Validation”).
  
• Description: Scope and summary of key results.
• Project: Link to the related project or environment.
  

 

Attach Files:
Drag and drop or browse to upload one or more PDF files — such as your detailed pen-test report or vendor deliverable.

 

Click Save.
The uploaded files are stored with the report and can be opened later from the details drawer.

Editing and Managing Attachments

 

Need to update or replace a file?

Open the report via the ✏️ Edit icon, scroll to Attached Files, and upload new or additional PDFs.
Click Save to apply changes.

 

All attachments stay linked to their corresponding project for compliance and audit review.

 

Typical Workflow

 

• Run Tests: Security team or vendor performs penetration testing.
